Avvy collaborates with companies to provide easy and convenient healthcare services through its app. Patients can order services at their fingertips, and Avvy’s professionals can provide specimen collection, drug administration, vaccination and more.
Avvy also supports other companies, by offering its services to film crews in the entertainment industry, contributing in employee benefits programs through the Avvy employer program, and partnering with specialty health technology companies like Syantra, to advance shared causes, such as providing blood test for breast cancer screening in Quebec.

Eddy Abi Abdallah
Design Lead/Marketing Coordinator
Eddy has a Master's Degree in graphic design from Notre Dame University, Lebanon, and has worked in branding, packaging, communication and advertising for over 14 years. In these roles, Eddy has touched a range of sectors, including jewelry, food and beverage, IT, corporate design, and educational management. A self-driven professional, Eddy supports our marketing and business development teams.
Dr. Nathaniel Bouganim
Chief Science Officer
Dr. Nathaniel Bouganim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC) in Montreal, Quebec. He also serves currently as the director of the oncology clinical teaching unit, as well as the program director for the oncology subspecialty fellowship. Dr. Bouganim is a very active researcher with multiple investigator-led clinical trials, and is principal investigator on numerous clinical trials in both breast and head and neck cancers. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his research. Previously, Dr Bouganim has served as a consultant in multiple start-up companies and was the Chief Medical Officer for Integrated Clinical Care, an EHR company operating in Canada and the United States. Dr. Bouganim’s role at Avvy focuses on expanding Avvy’s services and providing patients with access to cutting edge, state of the art tests.
Sarah Haji Jussab
Nurse Coordinator
Sarah is a clinician nurse with 10 years of experience in the field, and has worked as a bedside nurse in various hospital departments. She has also been a hospital team leader and a teaching nurse, responsible for helping new nurses come up to speed on the job. Sarah holds a Registered Nursing degree from the College Bois de Boulogne and a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing from the Université de Quebec en Outaouais. As Avvy’s nurse coordinator with the Operations team, Sarah handles everything from hiring and training new Avvy nurses, to making sure inventory is up to date, to verifying appointment details to ensure they align with provincial regulations.
Naveed Hussain
Nurse Coordinator
Naveed Hussain is a nurse with over 20 years of experience working at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) in Montreal. He has worked as an Internal Medicine, Oncology and Psychiatry nurse with a role as a consultant in the Infection Control & Prevention department. He was on the frontline during the Covid-19 pandemic providing leadership and sharing his knowledge to his colleagues and countless others. Naveed prides himself on delivering optimal and efficient care while being empathetic and understanding of all of his clients needs. He is a freelance author for the CBC and has been featured in interviews with the Montreal Gazette, The New York Times, The Globe & Mail, CTV, City TV, Radio Canada, TVA & Noovo for the countless positive contributions he has made to Montreal.
Caroline Ouaknine
Corporate Account Coordinator
Caroline has over ten years of experience as a coordinator of healthcare services, with a focus on excellence and customer service. Since finishing her degree in Anatomy and Molecular Cell Biology at McGill, she has worked in different clinical settings, including one of the largest network of primary and specialty care clinics in Canada. In recent years, she has perfected a broad range of tailored skills for at-home healthcare services working for MDrsvp. Caroline leads the corporate arm of Avvy and works closely as the primary contact for all client logistical support services.
Mauro Parissi
Director of Finance
Mauro has over 25 years of experience, leading corporate finance teams, commercial and operating activities, as well as corporate and business development at the national and international level. As chief financial and operating officer for a publicly-listed NASDAQ corporation, he was responsible for the company’s financial functions, including corporate finance and investor relations. Transitioning to Operating Officer, he led and managed its strategic, operational, corporate and business activities.
Dr. Ramy Saleh
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Ramy Saleh, MD, MSc, FRCPC is an internal medicine and medical oncology physician at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC) in Montreal, Quebec. At the MUHC, he is also the current medical director of the Phase I Clinical Trial Unit. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Airmed Trials Inc, a Canadian company that focuses on improving efficiency in conducting clinical trials and was a consultant for multiple Canadian-based health tech companies, including Think Research and Sciteline. Dr. Saleh joins Avvy with more than 10 years’ experience in the health informatics field where his focus was on creating platforms to increase patient safety, reduce costs on the health care system, and lower the burden on health care professionals. His focus at Avvy is to expand the capabilities of the platform while ensuring full PIPEDA compliance.
Mahdi Zaher
Licensed Practical Nurse
Mahdi is a full-time nurse with Avvy Health, and a licensed nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in the field. He has held nursing positions with major hospitals as both a pediatric and emergency room nurse. He has also worked as an emergency flight medic. Mahdi works with the Operations team to provide a seamless white-glove experience to Avvy clients.
